The REACH Network Secretariat is pleased to share its REACH 2024 Annual Regional Meeting report, highlighting the key discussions, outcomes, and milestones of the three-day gathering – in Abuja, Nigeria, and online – between 29 and 31 October 2024.
This year’s meeting culminated with the signing of the Abuja Declaration on REACH for Child Survival.
The report notes the recommendations that will guide the REACH Network’s collective efforts in the coming year.
These include strengthening the Network’s thematic working groups, to ensure renewed focus on equity and operational efficacy, as well as the important steps needed to make REACH initiatives sustainable, both in financial terms and in terms of our duty to monitor interventions to ensure the safe, appropriate and responsible distribution of azithromycin for child survival.
